Mistakes that FB marketers should not do
Don’t try to imitate your competitors. We don’t really know what is the problem in their content and their creatives. Instead of blindly adapting their creatives and content it is always better to create our own. In this case we will stand put of the crowd. Google knows everything about the originality. So instead of trying to cheat Google, it is better to publish our own creative that may not be a world class one. Why should we copy other brands ?. That is not going to help us any way.
Respect our Fan base. We have a Facebook profile as well as many commercial Facebook pages from which we used to do the campaign. In this case we may have many friends in our profile and followers of our commercial pages. In most of the cases, friends in our profile is much more than the followers of commercial pages. Our profile friends may be interested in our pages and may be a potential clients in future. It is always advisable to convert the friends into page followers.
Random posting in Facebook. Many of us make posts randomly in Facebook. It is not a good approach. Since we want to achieve the goals of company through Facebook, we should not take it lightly. We should plan the frequency of posting and the content of the post. Many of the tools like hootsuite can be used for scheduling the posts. It will save much of our time
No follow-ups. Many of us simply make Facebook posts and then go for other works. But the posts are the important source of potential leads. One should realize this and continuously monitor the posts. If any one asked for any clarification or information please provide them immediately so that they will be happy with your response.
Happy to be in comfort zone. Don’t be happy in your comfort zone. Always think what next. Since Facebook and Instagram, share the Facebook post to Instagram immediately. Similarly it is always a good practice to post them in all possible Social medias simultaneously.
